Florsheim and Psudo launch capsule collection
Florsheim and Psudo are launching a seven-piece footwear collection on Monday, according to a press release sent to Fashion Dive.
Footwear in the capsule will be available in seven different colorways, including brown, navy, snakeskin ombre and a palm leaf print. Each pair will cost $140, per the release, and the collection will be available in select Florsheim retail stores and its e-commerce site.
The collaboration is an opportunity for the Florsheim brand “to spark conversations with new audiences,” according to John Florsheim, president and chief operating officer of Florsheim parent company Weyco Group Incorporated.
“Partnering with Psudo has been a fantastic journey,” Florsheim said in the release. “To be able to learn the latest in sustainable footwear technology and work with a team who is passionate about their craft has been a pleasure.”
Each pair of shoes in the collaboration is machine washable and saves 7.2 single-use plastic bottles from landfills and oceans, per the release. The line was made at the Psudo factory in Los Angeles and was sourced in the U.S.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to join forces with such an iconic American Heritage brand,” Michel Rich, founder of Psudo, said in the release. “I’ve personally been a huge fan of Florsheim for years… We believe this collaboration will be incredibly rewarding and inspiring for both brands.”
