Capital Mall Makes Back-To-School Shopping Easy and Fun – ThurstonTalk

You may be in denial, but summer is almost over. The kids have piles of outgrown, worn or out-of-style clothes that need to be replaced. Maybe their backpack is looking a little worse for wear too. Sponsored by South Puget Sound Community College, the Back-to-School event at Capital Mall takes place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Macy’s Court. Kids will have fun in the bounce house and all will enjoy temporary glitter tattoos and caricatures. The U.S. Army will be there with a fun physical challenge and recruitment information. Take a break from shopping to play a game, perhaps giant Jenga, Connect 4 or even hopscotch, all in the comfortably air-conditioned Mall.

Capital Mall really is a one-stop-shop when it comes to outfitting your kids for the new school year. Old Navy has everything for the youngest heading into preschool to the teen starting their senior year. Find comfy sweaters, jeans and khakis galore, and cute fall dresses. Be sure to check out their clearance section for budget-conscious school shopping!

For the teenagers that have to be on trend, check out American Eagle. They have the oversized sweaters, bright colors and flares everyone wants this season.
