Love the Locals: Three local Bristol businesses come together to host fashion show

BRISTOL, Va–A new clothing boutique is now open and they are partnering with other small business owners for a fashion show this weekend.

Verre Rosé opened two months ago at 208 Linden Square Drive.

They specialize in women’s clothing, kids clothing, and even have a customizable trucker hat bar.

On Saturday August 10th, they are partnering with Blo Blow Dry Bar and El 123 Tex Mex for their first ever fashion show event.

The models will showcase clothes, and hair will be styled by stylists from Blo Blow Dry Bar.

There will also be a salsa bar for guests and refreshments.

“I really do believe in investing back in to your community,” said manager of Blo, Hayley Carpenter. “That’s the only way for us to expand and grow.”

Both Carpenter, and the owner of Verrre Rose, Traci Scarbrough said the collaboration is an effort to introduce the community to these new businesses.

“Of course we can order from Amazon all the time, we can order from the big box stores all the time, but we are the ones supporting your kids little league games, we’re the ones who are going to buy those cards that the football team comes in here and sells, and I think we need to get back to that, get back to doing for our own and our community and this is a good start,” saidScarbrough.

Verre Rose is open 7 days a week from 11-8.

Blo is also open 7 days a week, Monday-Saturday 9:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. and Sunday10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
