Meet gold medal-winning equestrian Harry Charles – who’s dating Eve Jobs

Now 26, the Apple founder’s kid appears to be dating 25-year-old British equestrian Harry Charles. Charles just won a gold medal in the team show jumping event, but withdrew from the individual show jumping final due to his horse’s poor health, according to the Olympics official website. His accomplishment was nevertheless still an impressive feat: he and his two teammates brought home the sport’s first gold medal since 2012 for Team GB, per the BBC.

So what else do we know about Harry Charles?

If you hadn’t spotted their PDA already earlier, Jobs’ recent Instagram video made their relationship obvious: the clip showed her beau hopping over a fence to celebrate his win with her, before the pair shared a quick kiss and a warm embrace.

Jobs captioned the post, “Team gold! Beyond proud of you, my love!!” seeming to confirm that the pair are dating. The gold medallist also included her in his post-win festivities by sharing a photo of her with his own loved ones, writing: “You saw me up on the podium, but as you all know, it takes a village! Thank you, I owe you all so much.”

Jobs also reposted an Instagram Story shared by one of Charles’ friends, in which the Olympian is pictured sitting in a chair wearing his medal, while Jobs drapes her arms proudly around his neck.

Like her boyfriend, Jobs is a celebrated equestrian and show jumper too. In 2019, she was named the fifth best rider under 25 in the world. “I was first put on a pony at two years old, but didn’t actually start really riding until I was about six,” Jobs revealed in an interview with Horse Sport that same year. More recently, she has moved into the world of modelling, and is signed with DNA Model Management.

According to The Guardian, Charles pivoted careers when he shifted from golf to show jumping. He is now ranked World No 1 under 25 in the sport, per his Instagram bio.

They are also both nepo babies

The young couple both have famous fathers. Jobs is, of course the daughter of Apple creator and investor Steve Jobs, while Charles’ father is the well-known British equestrian Peter Charles MBE, who won gold in the same event as his son with Team GB at the 2012 Olympics in London.

On being the son of an experienced show jumper like his father, Harry told Horse & Hound: “I couldn’t have done it without him. His help and his management have been super and he has been invested in it as much as I have.”

Harry Charles is an ambassador for multiple brands

Sports and fashion have gone hand in hand for a while now. Charles is not only an Olympic gold medallist, but also became the youngest Rolex Testimonee (aka an ambassador for the watch brand) in 2019. “When I went to my very first Rolex lunch with all the fellow highly successful Testimonees, 19-year-old me was feeling a little bit out of place – but the experience really motivated me to work my way up, and now I feel like I’m very much part of the Rolex family,” Charles admitted, as previously reported.

Charles is also an equestrian ambassador for Boss, recently joined the Lugano Diamonds family as an ambassador, and has partnered with equestrian boots brand Vogel.
