The Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame inducts the Class of 2024

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Thursday night was the induction ceremony for the Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame at the Lansing Center. The Class of 2024 consisted of nine individuals and two teams that were immortalized with plaques.

News 10′s Fred Heumann was one of those members that was inducted with decades of covering sports around the state. Legendary women’s basketball player Tiffanie Shives was inducted as well after four fabulous seasons with Lansing Christian. She captured two Class D state titles and a Michigan Miss Basketball award her senior year as well.
