Pamela Anderson Wore Her Signature Barely-There Makeup Look While Out With Her Sons

Pamela Anderson is continuing her bare-faced beauty regime. While attending Copenhagen Fashion Week yesterday, the actress happily skipped an arduous makeup process, opting instead for a fresh-faced, barely-there makeup look.

She was joined at the ROTATE fashion show by her two sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee. The trio were spotted taking in the show in identical cross legged positions — like mother like sons.

Anderson wore a chic all-white look for the event, slipping on a pair of white trousers and a loose white collared shirt. She wore strappy gold sandals, black sunglasses, and accessorized with a pearl necklace, pearl drop earrings, and a layered pearl bracelet. The only pop of color came from her red manicure and pedicure. Much like her beauty look, Anderson’s fashion was simple, classic, and unfussy.

Anderson, who recently turned 75, has made a habit out of rocking a bare-faced look since Paris Fashion Week last year. “I didn’t think anyone was going to notice,” she later told Allure. “I just thought, I’m not competing with all these beautiful people.” Since then, she’s gone makeup-free at events like the Oscars after-party and a pre-Met Gala party.

The actress opened up about her decision to embrace her “true self” and forgo makeup earlier this month. “[Going bare-faced ] was the beginning of me letting go of the image I had always had of myself. What is this cartoon character that I’d created? Okay, that was fun. But I’m not that person anymore,” Anderson told Better Homes & Gardens candidly.

As she explained, going sans makeup was her way of challenging “the idea of beauty” that we currently have in society. “As soon as I took the mask off, the whole world opened up,” she said.

Going makeup-free was also something Anderson did partly out of respect for her two sons. “My kids have always seen that part of me. And it hurt them to think that those other things are the only things people think of their mom,” she said. “Yes, she’s been in Playboy. Yes, she’s done all these things, but we know who she is. It’s different now.”

Anderson’s sons, whom she shares with ex-husband Tommy Lee, have both followed in their parents’ creative footsteps. Brandon Thomas Lee, 28, now works as a producer, while Dylan Jagger Lee, 26, is a musician and model.
