Massive Anime Leak Hits Netflix and Crunchyroll – IGN The Fix: Entertainment – IGN
Massive leaks hit Netflix recently, as many of its highly anticipated animated shows have surfaced on the Internet, months before some are slated to hit the streaming platform. Ranma ½, Dandadan, Terminator Zero, and Arcane’s second season have all seen episodes leak onto the Internet, which sucks for a plethora of reasons: The main reason being, it could likely affect the hype train and ratings of some of these highly anticipated shows. “One of our post-production partners has been compromised and footage from several of our titles has unfortunately leaked online. Our team is aggressively taking action to have it taken down.” This doesn’t just affect Netflix, but Crunchyroll had an #Anime hit as well, who also came out to speak on the matter to The Wrap: “We are aware of a content leak ahead of one of our fall series. We’ve opened an investigation to identify the source of this leak, and our team is taking action to have it taken down.”
