Dakota News Now expands partnership with Metro Sports TV for high school sports coverage

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Dakota News Now is expanding its partnership with Metro Sports TV this fall. It will make high school sports available on television and free-view live stream this fall and winter. It begins with football on Saturday, August 31st when Harrisburg takes on O’Gorman in the Dakota Bowl.

Metro Sports TV plans to livestream 12 high school football games in the Sioux Falls metro area. The schedule includes Sioux Falls’ four public schools, Bishop O’Gorman, Harrisburg, and Brandon Valley.

In addition to streaming games on MetroSports.tv, DakotaNewsNow.com, and the Dakota News Now App, viewers will also be able to watch all of the broadcasts on Outlaw TV Channel 13.2.

In addition to high school football coverage, there are also plans for free-view livestreams and TV broadcasts on Channel 13.2 for boys and girls basketball in the Sioux Falls area beginning in December.

Metro Sports TV provides a high-quality, multi-camera setup at each event that includes graphics and instant replays along with professional play by play announcing. Returning to the Metro Sports TV broadcasting booth is long-time local play-by-play sportscaster John Gaskins and a slew of talented analysts.

Metro Sports TV started in Sioux City, Iowa in 2017. The organization livestreams over 120 high school sporting events each year in the Sioux Falls, Des Moines, Sioux City, and northwest Iowa markets.
