Discovery World on Market partners with Mister Bee Potato Chips for special edition bag of chips

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – This week, Discovery World on Market announced its partnership with Mister Bee Potato Chips.

It is a unique partnership that acts as a donation from Mister Bee. The West Virginia potato chip company created a special edition bag designed by a Discovery World on Market employee.

Mister Bee has also sponsored the cafe in Discovery World on Market. This is not the first time the company has shown interest in STEM and education for youth.

This project started in February when Executive Director Wendy Shriversaw the partnership between Mister Bee, Tudor’s Biscuit World, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation to raise money for Make-A-Wish.

“I just shot her an email and said, would you ever consider partnering with us as a STEM partner in education and do our own branded bag of chips with you. She jumped right on it, they donated the bags and chips so we sell the chips here in our cafe and it will be a profit for us as a donation,” said Shriver.

The proceeds from the sale of the potato chips will be used to develop the local STEM museum.
