After clinching the regional championship, the Lake Mary Little League All-Star team returned home on Wednesday afternoon to a warm welcome at the Lake Mary Sports Complex.

The 2024 Little League World Series is underway, and Florida is in the world-famous tournament.
The Lake Mary Little League All-Stars won the Southeast regional tournament to advance to Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They are one of 20 teams from across the world competing in the double-elimination baseball tournament. The games started Wednesday, August 14 and conclude with the championship game Sunday, August 25.
Lake Mary is the 24th Florida team to make it to the LLWS and the fourth from Central Florida. No Florida team has won the championship. Here’s a look at the 2024 LLWS bracket and the schedule Lake Mary will need to take to win it all.

Florida Little League World Series schedule
Lake Mary Little League opened the 2024 Little League World Series with a 2-1 win over Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Wednesday, August 14. JJ Feliciano pitched 5⅔ innings with 11 strikeouts.
Next up for Lake Mary is the team from Puyallup, Washington, who will be playing their first game of the tournament. The winner plays at 7 p.m. Monday, while the loser faces an elimination game at 1 p.m. Sunday.
