The team from Newtown represents the Mid-Atlantic Region and is a step further down a long road to stay alive for a Little League World Series championship. Pitcher Tyler Neeld threw 5.1 scoreless innings with 8 strikeouts in a 5-0 win over New Hampshire on Saturday, which sets up another elimination matchup with Washington. The team from South Hill Little League in Puyallup, Wash., fell to Florida, 6-1, in its Wednesday opener to fall into the consolation rounds.
