Adult entertainment star Sophia Leone’s cause of death revealed

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (WKRC) – Adult entertainment star Sophia Leone’s cause of death has been revealed.

TMZ reported that Leone was found dead in her apartment in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 1. She was 26 years old at the time.

Authorities investigating the matter initially considered Leone’s death both “suspicious” and “unique,” per the outlet. TMZ noted that Leone’s mother told police that her daughter suffered from suicidal thoughts and drank heavily.

In an update, TMZ reported that Leone’s official cause of death was a fatal drug overdose, which authorities have classified as accidental.

Born in Miami in 1997, Leone made her adult video debut at the age of 18 and was known for working with major adult entertainment studios.
