Women: Wide Leg Jeans

If you already own wide leg jeans, then you’ll be able to wear them proudly this upcoming season. “Yes, my friends, wide leg silhouettes continue to dominate the denim departments at my favorite retailers, and I’m slowly starting to see more everyday women embracing them,” Jolynneshane.com writes. “I’m also noticing more full length styles arriving on the scene for fall, and I’m very happy about that because I find them much easier to style with boots and other closed toe shoes.” I’m still waiting for low-rise jeans to return, because I love those.

Men: Corduroy

For men, corduroy is all the rage this season. After all, corduroy is such a perfect fall and winter clothing item to keep you warm. “Corduroy jackets and jean jackets are also back in style in 2024,” notes Taelor.style.com. They add that “the driving force seems to be a desire to return to the comfortable clothes worn by men a few decades ago.” Along with corduroy jackets being popular, they also say bomber jackets are making a comeback for men this season. When it comes to the colors that are popular in fashion this season, blush pink is a big one for women. “Emerging from the Barbie-induced craze for pink, softer, more wearable tones are coming to the forefront,” Redonline.co.uk notes. “Starting with slightly sugary pastel shades right now, autumn will welcome in a dusty blush to complement an enticing, cosy palette of olive, conker and cream.”
