Owner of Kones Kreamery to sell business to fund embryo adoption journey

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The owner of Kones Kreamery in Fargo is selling his store to help him and his wife fund an embryo adoption journey.

Brady Hand, the owner, says the decision comes as he and his wife pursue embryo adoption after nearly four years of infertility including two unsuccessful rounds of IVF. Hand transitioned from a career in HR to opening the store in 2019. In a statement, Hand said:

“Kones Kreamery has been my passion for the past few years, but now it’s time to focus on growing our family. We’re hoping that by selling the business, we can fund our embryo adoption journey and give another couple’s frozen embryos a chance at life.”

The store which is located at 150 45th St S, Suite 120 in Fargo has been a community staple for five years. Customers have the option to pick from boba teas, bubble waffles, and gelato. The shop is particularly known for its animal face gelato characters.

“While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to Kones Kreamery, we’re excited for this next chapter in our lives and for the future of the business under new ownership,” added Hand.

Those interested in purchasing the store are asked to email Brad or call him at 701-367-3263. You can also send a message to the Kones Kreamery Facebook page.
