This Low-cost Airline Has a Nationwide Sale Starting at — When to Book

Cooler weather is on the horizon, and low-cost Breeze Airways is offering a network-wide sale on fall flights starting at just $39 one-way.

The sale, which ends on Thursday, August 29, at 11:59 p.m. PT, includes dozens of fares in Breeze’s basic economy class. These flights are already discounted on the airline’s website and are available for travel between Sep. 3 and Nov. 14.

Along with the sale, Breeze has spotlighted many destinations on its route map that are known for their peak fall foliage. For instance, travelers can book last-minute trips to see the vibrant autumn colors in New England cities such as Burlington, Vermont and Bangor, Maine, where the foliage peaks in early September.

“Ready to catch all the beautiful colors of fall leaves?” Breeze wrote about the promotion on its website. “Use the foliage map to estimate the timing of peak fall colors for your desired destination or read about some of the best places you can see the fall foliage with Breeze.”

Travel + Leisure found these one-way deals to some of the best top leaf-peeping destinations:

  • Tampa (TPA) to Raleigh-Durham (RDU): $39
  • Myrtle Beach (MYR) and Richmond (RIC) to Hartford (BDL): $44
  • Phoenix (PHX) to Provo (PVU): $44
  • Charleston (CHS) to Manchester, N.H. (MHT), Syracuse (SYR), or Westchester (HPN): $50
  • Jacksonville (JAX) and Orlando (MCO) to Providence (PVD): $50

For the lowest “No Flex Fare” ticket, passengers are limited to bringing a personal item, with additional fees applied for flight modifications. Travelers seeking more flexibility and a free carry-on bag onboard should consider upgrading to the Nice fare bundle.

Founded by JetBlue’s creator, David Neeleman, Breeze Airways aims to enhance the onboard experience beyond offering direct service between smaller airports and larger destinations. By the end of 2024, the airline plans to operate an all-Airbus A220 fleet, featuring fast Wi-Fi and USB-C power ports at every seat.
