Wichita looking for police officers, firefighters and other City workers in job fair

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The City of Wichita is hosting six career fairs prior to the District Advisory Board meetings in September. The job fairs will be held on two days next month, Sept. 4 and Sept. 9, across all six districts.

Applications will be accepted for all City of Wichita job openings, but there is an increased need for positions in the Wichita Police Department, Wichita Fire Department, Wichita Park & Recreation, Wichita Public Works & Utilities and Wichita Transit.
