Football viewing options abound in Las Vegas

It’s finally back! Oh, football, how we missed you! And as millions of fans will be pouring into stadiums all over the country to cheer on their respective teams, so will millions of fans be pouring into Las Vegas to eat, drink and bet while enjoying any game they want to watch at the city’s countless restaurants, bars, sportsbooks and more.

One of the newest—and best—sports-watching venues in town can be found just across the way from Allegiant Stadium: WSKY Stadium, ideal for both Raiders ticketholders (you can park there and walk to the game) and fans in general, featuring more than 40 TVs, 22 beers on tap and 80-plus whiskeys. There’s also a killer food menu, with shareable highlights including Bodega Chopped Cheese Stadium Fries, a decadent concoction featuring ground beef, Boursin fondue, provolone, grilled onions, bell peppers, American cheese, giardiniera and chipotle aioli.

Another great option for both viewing and food and drink options is Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Sports Kitchen at Horseshoe Las Vegas, where you can find any game you want on the more than 30 TVS while you and a group enjoy Fieri specialties like Guy’s Awesome Pretzel Pull Apart, Pepperoni Pizza Pops and Flavortown Wings.

Downtown at Golden Nugget, Cadillac Mexican Kitchen is a party headquarters extraordinaire, with 34 TVs and delicious noshes like chicken and beef fajitas, enchiladas, carnitas tacos and beef fajita nachos. Plus, if you want to check out a Monday or Thursday night game, Cadillac features an enticing happy hour from 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, featuring $4 domestic draft beers, $5 Famous Margaritas, $6 wines and more.

While downtown, you can also check out the action at Carousel Bar at Plaza, which opens earlier during football season (10 a.m. instead of noon every Saturday and Sunday), and while there are only four TVs, you’ll be having so much darned fun here you won’t care, thanks to weekly beer and shot specials all season long.

Another downtown venue offers sports viewing on a completely different level—three of them, to be exact. Stadium Swim at Circa Resort & Casino features six pools on three tiers, all of which offer great vantage points to watch some games on a 40-foot-tall, high-definition screen. The food and beverage options are plentiful, all of which can be delivered to you!

Sports are so much more fun when you’re betting on them, and for such activity it doesn’t get much better than the impressive SuperBook at Westgate Las Vegas. This season the venue will offer a special promo for the mobile betting app (bet $100 and get $100 for new mobile app signups), and in addition to the SuperBook, Westgate will offer Football Central, with an additional 1,500 seats in the International Theater. And, as always, you’ll have plenty of gameday food and beverage specials.
