Power restored at several business in Raleigh’s Village District after Sunday’s storms

Several businesses have power again Monday in the Village District of Raleigh, including Chick-Fil-A and Fresh Market, after storms nocked out power for several hours.

According to a few business owners in the neighborhood, some have been without power since Sunday evening.

Raleigh saw several severe storms move through the area on Sunday, which caused several events to be canceled and crashes on the road due to the rain and flooding.

Parking lots were empty at several businesses on Monday in the Village District as it continues to deal with a power outage.

According to a Duke Energy representative, power was restored arond 6 p.m.
