How might AI help you find a job? Case Western professors researching how

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Some people fear that artificial intelligence, or AI, will take their jobs. But two professors at Case Western Reserve University are exploring a way that AI can make finding a job much easier, while removing bias from the hiring process.

Instead of the resume, cover letters and the rest of the stack of papers applicants usually send to prospective employers while applying, researchers think AI could comb through a worker’s college transcripts, syllabuses and work history in files to decipher what skills they have. And the idea is use the AI in a way that keeps the files stored privately on the jobseeker’s computer.
