As we ease into Fall Friday Night Football Returns, the weather is getting cooler and that means more to do. Here is what is happening in Texarkana the weekend of September 6 & 7 thanks to our partners in the community at Tony Langford Roofing and Whiskey River Country Club.

Saturday afternoon from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm it’s Puff Puff Paws at Abby Road on Arkansas Boulevard to benefit the Texarkana Animal Care & Adoption Center. There will be food trucks and more, get information at TexarkanaFYI.com.

Saturday night it is “Adult Prom Sneaker Style” at the Collins Home on Olive Street. Get all dressed up with comfortable shoes and dance the night away 80s and 90s style to benefit Hands on Texarkana. For more information call 903.798.3211.
