Kroger app, website experiencing ‘unexpected outage’
CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Kroger customers planning to grocery shopping on Friday may want to shop in-store.
The franchise is currently experiencing an “intermittent” issue with its app and website, preventing shoppers from being able to order groceries online or ahead of time.
A brief notification was posted online on Friday.
“We’re currently experiencing intermittent site availability. We’re quickly working to address this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.”
App users trying to shop may receive a pop-up error or notice a lengthy loading period.
Several customers have reached out to Kroger on X – formerly known as Twitter – about the issue. Kroger responded, calling it an unexpected outage.
Hi, there! We apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, all banner websites and mobile apps are experiencing an unexpected outage. Our technical teams are trying their best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Please try it again at a later time. Thank you!
