Texas vs. Michigan: Everything to know ahead of ‘Big Noon Kickoff’

The “Big Noon Kickoff” crew heads to Ann Arbor, Michigan, this week as the defending national champion Wolverines host the No. 3 Texas Longhorns in the first meeting between the two powerhouse programs since the 2005 Rose Bowl.

Michigan is 23-0 at home since 2021 and is the winningest program in college football history with 1,005 all-time victories. The Wolverines have won 16 consecutive games with their last loss coming in 2022 in the CFP against TCU

Meanwhile, Texas returned 11 starters this season, including star QB Quinn Ewers, who last season helped lead the team to a Big 12 title and the CFP. Last week, Ewers went 20-of-27 for 260 passing yards and three passing touchdowns.

The action gets underway Saturday morning at 9 a.m. ET on FOX as “Big Noon Kickoff” welcomes Derek Jeter, Matthew McConaughey, Cooper Manning, Charles Woodson and Chris Webber to the set. Then, the highly anticipated game between the Wolverines and Longhorns is set to kick off at noon ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app.
