McKee to travel to Washington | ABC6

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Governor Dan McKee will travel to the White House this week.

According to his team, McKee will meet with Tom Perez, Senior Advisor to the President and Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs to advocate for federal funding to support Rhode Island’s efforts to construct a new Washington Bridge.

“A key focus of the discussions will be the state’s $221 million application currently under review by the U.S. Department of Transportation for the National Infrastructure Project Assistance (Mega) Program,” stated his team.
