Austin’s Central Market attempts world’s largest charcuterie board
ROUND ROCK, Texas — Central Market in Austin is celebrating 30 years this weekend and in honor of the anniversary, they attempted to create and consume the World’s Largest Charcuterie Board!
Central Market is looking to earn the Guinness World Record by using over 1,000 pounds of meat and cheese.
The board has to be consumed to break the record.

The current World Record holder is Boarderie in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Boarderie says their board weighed in at 769 pounds and measured 20 feet by 14 feet.
This year’s celebration at Central Market also features a concert featuring Ray Benson and Friends at the store’s Westgate location at 4477 S. Lamar Blvd. on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
