Arizona Cardinals injury report: Week 2 vs. LA Rams

The initial Arizona Cardinals injury report before their Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Rams includes three players, including quarterback Kyler Murray (knee).

Murray’s name showing up on the team’s initial injury report was a surprise, but he was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

Other Cardinals that showed up on the injury report include rookie cornerback Max Melton, who is going through concussion protocol and did not participate in Wednesday’s practice. Wide receiver Xavier Weaver was limited after missing Week 1 with an oblique injury.

The Cardinals placed starting right tackle Jonah Williams on injured reserve Wednesday morning, ensuring he’ll miss at least the next four games due to a knee injury.

As for the Rams, they placed WR Puka Nacua, as well as linemen Steve Avila and Joe Noteboom, on injured reserve, leaving a thin roster ahead of their matchup against the Cardinals.

Tight end Davis Allen, lineman Kevin Dotson and cornerback Cobie Durant all did not participate on Wednesday. Lineman Rob Havenstein and linebacker Christian Rozeboom were limited.
