The Chiefs receiver, who re-signed with Kansas City after his release from the Patriots last month, and his girlfriend, Laura Kruk, got engaged recently.

Smith-Schuster proposed with a stunning oval-shaped diamond ring while on a yacht on Nantucket Island, as seen in photos he shared Wednesday on Instagram.

“I thank God everyday for you. Now & Forever,” he wrote, including a diamond ring emoji.

The couple toasted with champagne in front of a pink and white flower display that was in the shape of a heart.

Smith-Schuster’s teammates shared congratulatory messages, including Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce.

Kruk, an online fitness coach for women, shared photos of the couple celebrating their engagement on the beach.

“Overwhelmed with so much love!” she wrote. “Thank you for all the sweet messages 💕 truly the best weekend and I couldn’t be happier 💍.”

It’s unclear when Smith-Schuster and Kruk got together or how the couple met.

Last week, Kruk gushed over the news of Smith-Schuster’s reunion with the Chiefss, writing, “happy, excited, proud” on Instagram at the time.

She included photos of the couple on the field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

In his only season with the Chiefs, Smith-Schuster won a Super Bowl and led Kansas City receivers — recording 933 yards on 78 catches with three touchdowns — in 2022.

He was second behind behind All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce in yards and catches.

The Chiefs went on to beat the Eagles 38-35 to win the Super Bowl in Arizona in February 2023.

Smith-Schuster signed a three-year deal with the Patriots last season, but injuries limited his production.

He caught 29 passes for 260 yards in 11 games.

Smith-Schuster spent five seasons with the Steelers and made the Pro Bowl in his rookie season after Pittsburgh selected him in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
