Chris Hemsworth Put YouTuber MrBeast Through a Brutal Circuit Workout
FAMOUS YOUTUBER MRBEAST joined actor and fitness demi-god Chris Hemsworth at his home gym in Byron Bay, Australia recently for a workout. Unsurprisingly, it was recorded and posted online—Hemsworth recently launched a YouTube channel, so a collab with one of the biggest names on the platform could be just the thing to launch the project to an even wider audience.
It was a reluctant move by MrBeast. “I was like, ‘yo, you want to hang out?’ And [Hemsworth] was like ‘yeah, we can workout’. That’s not what I asked, but okay,” he joked in the video. “I came here to hang out with Chris, and that turned into a full body workout.”
That’s what happens when you link up with Thor.
Hemsworth put Beast and his crew through the ringer in a 30-minute conditioning circuit, designed by his Luke Zocchi, Hemworth’s personal trainer. There were nine stations, where they worked for 30 seconds of work, 20 seconds of rest. MrBeast and company suffered through loads of compound movements like sled pushes, kettlebell deadlifts, ball slams, dumbbell curl and presses, Assault bike, sandbag reverse lunges, and of course, the dreaded Ski Erg. They filtered through the room four times.
The video shows Beast and Hemsworth duking it out on Ski Erg meters, where Hemsworth wins by a few hundred calories. “I understand why he’s called Thor,” Beast says early on in the video.
Nonetheless, the crew survived, and rewarded themselves with some Mr. Beast-branded candy bars—an interesting choice of post-workout snack.
Of course, MrBeast had a few things to teach Hemsworth as a megapopular YouTuber, like how to intro a clip the best way. The pair joked as they swapped places, vamped for the camera, and shot a first-reaction video for his chocolate bar brand. By the close, Hemsworth was moving like a true content creator. We’ll see if MrBeast continues his fitness journey and starts showing up in the gym more, just like Hemsworth.
