NFL Week 2 Player Prop Best Bets
Anthony Richardson Under 201.5 Passing Yards
So we know that Malik Willis will be getting his first career start and I believe there’s going to be a reliance on the defense to keep the Packers in the game. Let’s go back to Week 1 for the Colts. Richardson finished the game with 9/19 for 212 yards. Two of his passes in that game went for 114 yards. The rest of the way, Richardson was 7/17 for 98 yards. I know the Packers faced the Eagles last week and Hurts had a great night, but Colts offense is not at the level of the Eagles, especially at the skill position. I’ll expect this game to be ugly and another ugly stat line from Richardson.
Derrick Henry Longest Rush Attempt Over 14.5 Yards
Henry got off to a slow start for the Ravens against the Chiefs in Week 1. But he has a favorable matchup this week against the Raiders. Last week, J.K Dobbins ran for 135 yards on 10 carries, and the Raiders allowed 6.5 yards per carry to the Chargers. This game presents a good opportunity for not only Henry to get on track but also to break one for more than 15 yards at a time.
Isiah Pacheco Over 66.5 Rushing Yards
The much anticipated Week 2 matchup features the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. I love this matchup for Isiah Pacheco. The Bengals in Week 1 allowed Rhamondre Stevenson to run for 120 yards on 25 carries. The Bengals rush defense is completely different without D.J. Reader.
During Reader’s time with the Bengals, the Bengals allowed 102 rushing yards on 4.2 yards per carry. In the eight games without Reader, the Bengals allowed 132 yards per game on 4.6 yards per carry. Reader departed for the Lions this past season. Pacheco has faced the Bengals twice in during the regular season. In 2022, Pacheco ran for 66 yards on 14 yards. Last season, Pacheco ran for 130 yards on 18 carries averaging 7.2 yards per carry.
Brock Bowers Over 34.5 Receiving Yards
Brock Bowers had a tremendous debut for the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1. In fact, Bowers led the team in targets and accumulated 6 receptions on 58 yards. The Raiders take on the Ravens this week which has the highest spread on the board. I fully expect the Raiders to be trailing by two possessions in this game and force the Raiders to throw the football.
In Week 1, the Ravens allowed the Chiefs tight end group to accumulate 14 targets resulting in 11 receptions for 125 yards. I like this buy-low spot for Bowers in this game.
