The faces behind the Tunbridge World’s Fair

TUNBRIDGE, Vt. (WCAX) – The Tunbridge World’s Fair continues this weekend.

The fair is known for its agriculture, which was highlighted opening day Thursday. But, like most summer fairs in our region, games, food, and rides also entertain the guest.

Volunteers and fair employees help to make sure everything runs smoothly. Richard Barnaby of Tunbridge, has been working at the four-day event for that last 6 decades.

“It is nice because you get to see a lot of people that you don’t normally see for a long time and you get to visit with them. And see how they are doing. People you haven’t seen in years. Even old school friends and stuff. You don’t run into them every day,” Barnaby said.

The Conniption Fits and the Heartless Band performed Saturday night at the main grandstand. You can find a link to the full schedule of events for Sunday here.
