The Primetime Emmy Awards, which honor the best in American television, are being handed out Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Eugene and Dan Levy, the father and son duo who co-starred in the sitcom “Schitt’s Creek,” are hosting the show from the Peacock Theater.

“Shōgun,” the historical drama based on James Clavell’s bestselling novel, has the most nominations this year with 25. It is just the second non-English language program to ever be nominated for outstanding drama series.

Another FX show, “The Bear,” scored 23 nominations this year — the most ever for a comedy. “The Bear” took home six major awards at the last Emmys, including outstanding comedy series.
