A No-Brainer Travel Outfit: This adidas Set

For me, travel outfits are a continually evolving thing. They must be comfy, but I also want to look good. This doesn’t mean dressy, but I just want to look somewhat put-together when I travel.

The easiest way to do that? A matching set.

This Neuclassics track top and wide leg pants set from adidas ticks all the boxes. It’s comfy, it looks chic but it’s still athleisure and has the elevated sporty vibe I love. And because of the quality fabric, it will also look great after a flight arriving at your destination.

Um, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the new PDX airport upgrades right off the bat. Stunning, right??! I was so excited to see this space after so many trips walking past the shuttered construction area. It feels so light and airy and amazing! We have THE best airport.

But, back to the outfit. This set is made of adidas’ soft track suit stretch fabric. I love that it’s thick enough not to get baggy and stretched out with wear, but not too thick to be uncomfortable. It’s not as hot as fleece (which for me is a really good thing) but it’s warm enough for the airplane.

The cut of the jacket and pants are so current and more chic than your typical athleisure sweats.

The Jacket + Pants

The updated track jacket is a cropped cut hitting at the waist with deeper dolman style sleeves and a stand up collar. Love love.

The wide-leg pants are nice and high-waisted and have cool vertical seams front and back (but don’t worry, still comfy for sitting all day.) The movement when you’re walking is so fashun. Lol. Love them. Zipper pockets and a hidden drawstring finish out the pant details.

This set will be a real go-to for other activities too like when it starts really getting gray here and I don’t have the brain power to choose what to wear. Matching sets for the win when it comes to not having to think.

And that jacket will be perfect over my leggings and workout outfits on the regular. Wearing it today to barre, actually!

The Shoes

I’ve worn adidas Forum low sneakers for years now. These are the bold style in a rad monochromatic peach that I’m loving. They add a pretty neutral-esque pastel to the whole look and keep it interesting instead of too matchy. They’re SO freaking comfortable and perfect for travel days and site-seeing.

You can barely see them here but get these socks I have on. They’re the coziest I’ve ever put on my feet, but still work inside shoes (ie. not too thick.)

The Unique Details

I also love the simple signature adidas three stripes but in a horizontal configuration around both one sleeve of the jacket and one leg of the pant.

It’s such a tasteful but impactful design. The tee underneath is the same, but reversed in ivory with black stripes. So cool.
