Hotel and tourism platform launches travel routes
Putike, a 10-year-old new media platform focusing on hotel and tourism, recently introduced 18 high-end tourism routes for 2024 in Shanghai. The launch ceremony drew over 200 representatives from boutique hotels spanning more than 100 destinations across 20 countries.
According to booking data from Putike, travelers aged 20-30 and the affluent middle-aged group aged 45-55 are emerging as the primary drivers of consumption, gradually shaping new trends in travel.
“These are two significant markets that have not been adequately served,” stated Chen Jinbo, founder of Putike. “They are no longer content with just fine dining, comfortable accommodations, and photo opportunities. Instead, they seek engaging experiences, local immersion, and meaningful interactions,” Chen added.
During the launch event, several hotels and destinations were honored with the New Frontier Destination Award and the Extreme Cool Travel Experience Award.
Chen emphasized the importance of integrating AI tools to enhance marketing efficiency and achieving digitalization of the supply chain infrastructure. “Only through automated settlement of the supply chain can the transaction efficiency of the entire industry be fundamentally improved,” Chen asserted, emphasizing the need for industrywide transformation.
