Purchasing influencer favorites and celeb-recommended products has become effortless with the rise of shoppable storefronts, and Expedia Travel Shops brings the same ease to the travel industry. Expedia is launching over 100 Travel Shops so that people can explore and make bookings recommended by sports franchises like Arsenal FC, media publishers like Condé Nast Traveler and other tastemakers.

“Every day, people are liking and buying products recommended by influencers they trust, but until now there hasn’t been a simple way to shop travel recommendations,” said Lauri Metrose, SVP of Global Communications at Expedia Group, “Travelers are already getting inspiration through Instagram and TikTok, so creating a path to go from looking to booking is a natural evolution that meets travelers where they’re at.”

While the first Expedia Travel Shops are launching as an invite-only exclusive, a wider all-access launch is slated for 2025.
