Need a job? Pizza Hut will put your resume on a box

It’s one thing to get a resume in front of a potential employer. It’s another thing entirely to get that employer’s attention. Pizza Hut, though, has an idea.

The chain is offering a handful of pizza-loving job seekers the chance to put their curriculum vitae on a pizza box (yes, with a pizza included, because a little bribery never hurts when you’re trying to land a job).

The chain, which has a history of epic PR stunts, is introducing the ResZAme: a medium-cheese pizza delivered in a box that has the candidate’s resume printed on the box (one page only, please…). An undisclosed number will be delivered to offices around New York City (though you can enter the contest from anywhere in the country).

So, before we tell you how to apply, a few items of note. Delivering a Pizza Hut pizza to a NYC business might not go over as well as you think (despite the company’s efforts to connect with the city). New Yorkers are somewhat particular about their ‘za. Also, Pizza Hut notes “Our lawyers want you to know that Pizza Hut cannot guarantee that (i) a resume will be delivered to the potential employer, (ii) a candidate will receive an interview, and/or (iii) a candid ate will receive a job offer or be hired.”

Still want a potential employer to see your job history on a pizza box? Here’s how you do it.

First, visit the ResZAmes.com website, where you’ll enter the ZIP code of your would-be future employer. Assuming they are in an eligible delivery zone, you can build your resume via the site’s submission form.

Pizza Hut will review the submissions and choose an undisclosed number of winners, whose resume/pizza will be delivered expeditiously.

Submissions are being taken through Sept. 22.
