2024 college football Week 4 picks against the spread, odds, lines, trends: Vegas expert reveals top picks

Young quarterbacks will be in the spotlight as the Week 4 college football schedule arrives. Sophomore Jackson Arnold and No. 15 Oklahoma take on redshirt freshman Nico Iamaleava and No. 6 Tennessee in the marquee matchup on Saturday, with the Week 4 college football odds via SportsLine consensus listing the Vols as 7-point road favorites. Redshirt freshman Arch Manning could get his first career start for top-ranked Texas with Quinn Ewers (oblique) uncertain to play. The Longhorns are massive 44.5-point favorites against UTSA.

Freshman Dylan Raiola and No. 22 Nebraska have a ranked matchup on Friday evening as they take on No. 24 Illinois (+7.5). Which of these Week 4 college football lines should you target? Before locking in any Week 4 college football picks on those games or others, be sure to see the college football betting guide from legendary Vegas handicapper Bruce Marshall

Top college football predictions for Week 4

One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 4: He’s backing No. 15 Oklahoma (+7) against the spread as the Sooners take on the Vols in Norman at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Tennessee is unquestionably hot to open the season as the Vols have covered with more than 20 points to spare in their first three games. However, this is the first true road start for Iamaleava, and it should be against an extremely hostile crowd as the Sooners play their first ever SEC game.

The Vols covered just once on the road last year, while Oklahoma has covered in seven of its last nine at home overall. Marshall is expecting a competitive game and likes getting the full seven points with OU, while also backing the Over (57.5) since these teams are a combined 4-2 to that side of the total thus far in 2024. See which other picks to make here
