Bulgaria’s Fantastico investing 11.8 mln euro in new shopping centre
April 23 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian supermarket operator Fantastico Group started the construction of a shopping complex worth over 23 million levs ($12.5 million/11.8 million euro) in the capital Sofia, it said.
The complex, located on a 14,000 square metre plot, will create a hundred jobs, the company said in a statement last week.
Alongside the Fantastico supermarket, the centre will house fast fashion stores and other services. It will have its own photovoltaic system, a car park with electric vehicle charging stations and a playground.
Local construction company AT Engineering 2000 is the main contractor for the site.
Fantastico Group operates 45 supermarkets, most of which are located in Sofia and towns near the capital.
