Air France Renames “Premium Economy” to “Premium” to Elevate Travel Experience

Enhanced Comfort Features

The Premium cabin features the latest recliner seats on selected Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft, designed for optimal relaxation. The seats recline up to 124 degrees* and offer between 94 to 97 cm* of legroom, along with adjustable footrests and redesigned foam cushions. The elegant herringbone pattern fabric adds an extra layer of softness.

By the end of 2025, nearly 80% of the Air France fleet will be equipped with these upgraded recliner seats.

Exclusive In-Flight Amenities

Passengers in the Premium cabin will receive a comfort kit tailored for their needs, including a noise-reducing audio headset, blanket, and pillow for a relaxing journey. Each seat boasts a 13.3-inch 4K Ultra HD touchscreen, providing over 1,500 hours of on-demand entertainment, with a strong focus on French productions. Customers can connect their personal devices to the screen and use it as a remote control or browse the entertainment catalog. USB ports and Wi-Fi are also available.

Elegant Cabin Redesign

The Premium cabin has undergone a stylish redesign featuring shades of navy blue and sky blue, complemented by Air France’s signature red accents on headrests, cushions, and meal trays.

Upgraded Dining Experience

In a nod to French gastronomy, each Premium passenger is welcomed with a glass of champagne**. The onboard dining experience includes a full “French-style” meal service featuring snacks, starters, two hot dish options, cheese, and dessert, all served in eco-friendly tableware with stainless steel cutlery.

Menus are curated by Michelin-starred chef Frédéric Simonin, offering fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Two hot dishes will be regularly updated, including vegetarian options. Recent dessert upgrades include crunchy vanilla puffs and chocolate fondant, while flights over nine hours now feature traditional Provence-made ice cream bars.

Exclusive Beverage Selection

Passengers can enjoy a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including a new selection of wines and French beers, along with champagne. A revamped wine and spirits list curated by Air France’s head sommelier will be unveiled in spring 2025.

Priority Airport Services

Travelers in the Premium cabin benefit from SkyPriority, which provides expedited check-in, security clearance, and boarding processes. They can enjoy dedicated counters for baggage drop-off and priority baggage delivery, enhancing the overall travel experience.
