Marie Zere is president and chief executive officer of Zere Real Estate Services, the first woman-owned commercial real estate firm on Long Island and in New York State. Notably, in 2022, Zere completed a 30-year, $30 million ground lease with a five-year extension for Next Era, a partner of National Grid, for an 85.2-acre solar farm on agricultural land in Calverton.
