Monday Night Football open thread: Jaguars-Bills, Commanders-Bengals gambling lines and picks for tonight’s games

Week 3 in the NFL wraps up with a doubleheader on Monday Night Football as the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Commanders face the Cincinnati Bengals.

This is your place to discuss the game with other Las Vegas Raiders fans and any gambling picks you have as the lines below are provided by FanDuel Sportsbook.

Jaguars vs. Bills

  • Spread: BUF -5.5
  • O/U: 46.5
  • BUF ML: -255
  • JAX ML: +210

Holder’s picks: BUF -5.5, Over 46.5, BUF ML

It’s a primetime game in Buffalo which means Bills Mafia will be in full force tonight, so I think Josh Allen and the boys feed off the crowd’s energy and win convincingly. Plus, the Jaguars haven’t given much reason to believe in them this season and the Bills are coming off a long week after playing on Thursday night last week. Buffalo also has a chance to keep pace with Kansas City as the top team in the AFC, and I think they rise to the occasion and win by at least a touchdown.

For the injury report, tight end Evan Ingram (hamstring) is out for Jacksonville while running back Tank Bigsby (shoulder), safety Darnell Savage (quadriceps) and wide receiver Tim Jones (foot) are questionable. Meanwhile, the Bills will be without linebacker Terrel Bernard (pectoral) and cornerback Taron Johnson (forearm).

Commanders vs. Bengals

  • Spread: CIN -7.5
  • O/U: 46.5
  • CIN ML: -360
  • WSH ML: +290

Holder’s picks: CIN -7.5, Under 46.5, CIN ML

The Commanders won a flukey game last week where they didn’t even score a touchdown while the Giants lost their kicker early and couldn’t kick PATs. Also, Washington’s defense is very suspect, and Cincinnati is coming off a much-improved performance in Kansas City. Granted, the Bengals still haven’t looked good this season and are 0-2, but to me, this feels like their “get right” game where Joe Burrow goes back to playing like the Joe Burrow we’ve come to know over the last few years.

For the injury report, defensive end and former Raider Clelin Ferrel (knee) is out while the Commanders have listed cornerback Emmanuel Forbes (thumb) as questionable. The Bengals have ruled tight end Tanner Hudson (knee) and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (hamstring) out while defensive tackle B.J. Hill (hamstring) is doubtful. Safety Von Bell (back) and defensive tackle Kris Jenkins (thumb) are questionable.
