State of Play

Sony has revealed its next State of Play livestream will take place today, 24th September 2024, at 11pm BST / 3pm PT / 6pm ET. Across more than 30 minutes, over 20 PS5 and PSVR2 games “from studios around the world” will be shown. There’s no confirmation of whether any first-party PlayStation Studios titles will be part of the showcase.

Here’s a breakdown across multiple time zones of when the State of Play will take place:

  • North America: 3pm PDT / 4pm MDT / 5pm CDT / 6pm EDT
  • UK/Ire: 11pm BST
  • Europe: 12am (Wed) CEST / 1am (Wed) EEST
  • Asia/Oceania: 7am (Wed) JST / 6am (Wed) AWST / 8am (Wed) AEST

The PlayStation Blog post announcing the event shared very few other details, but rumours circulating over the weekend suggest remasters of Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone are set to be revealed during the livestream. Given its close proximity to Tokyo Games Show, some sort of trailer from Death Stranding 2: On the Beach seems possible too.
