Flexsteel Industries, Inc. has introduced its new Perfect Match Recliner Program, designed to simplify the
recliner shopping process for consumers. With a targeted product line and a focus on reducing consumer frustration,
Flexsteel is positioning itself to expand within the growing $7 billion recliner market.

A Strategic Response to Market Trends

The Perfect Match Recliner Program was developed based on Flexsteel’s research into market trends and internal
performance data. “We saw an opportunity to streamline the recliner shopping experience by simplifying the
process,” said David Crimmins, Vice President of Sales and Product at Flexsteel. “Consumers want fewer
choices but still expect quality and a variety of features. With Perfect Match, we’ve created a targeted,
easy-to-understand recliner lineup that fits that need perfectly.”

Inspired by the success of its Zecliner line, the Perfect Match program offers five recliner models with 18 SKUs,
designed to provide different sizes, features, and price points. Recliners in the collection range from $699 to
$999, reinforcing Flexsteel’s commitment to offering mass-market solutions without compromising on comfort,
quality, or durability.

Program Highlights

Flexsteel’s Perfect Match Recliner Program is designed to be straightforward for both consumers and retailers.
“We’ve simplified the recliner category, offering five key models that align with varying consumer needs,” said
Crimmins. “From size to features, everything progresses logically. We know from our research that consumers prefer
fewer than six choices, and that’s exactly what we provide with Perfect Match.”

Each tier in the program adds features such as power recline, gliding, USB-A and C ports, and hidden pop-out cup
holders. The models range from compact manual recliners to large, ultra-plush power models, ensuring a variety of
options for different customer preferences.

Retail Support and Availability

Flexsteel is supporting retailers with point-of-sale materials, including signage, floor displays, and a dedicated
landing page. The Perfect Match program requires only 100 square feet of retail space, making it an efficient
addition to retail showrooms.

Retailers have shown strong interest in the program, with many committing to the product line before its official
launch. “The commitment rate from our retail partners has been outstanding,” Crimmins added. “We expect Perfect
Match to be stocked by November and available in stores nationwide by year-end.”

Early retailer adoption has been strong, with initial shipments already in transit. Flexsteel anticipates that
Perfect Match will be in stock and available for consumers by the end of the year.

The Perfect Match Recliner Program is designed to be a turnkey solution for retailers, offering a high-quality,
curated recliner lineup that is both easy to sell and easy for consumers to navigate. By focusing on customer
