More than 40 employers looking for new hires at Quarterly Job Fair

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – The American Job Center will be holding a Job Fair for those interested in a new career or looking for employees for their business.

More than 40 employers are expected to attend the fair, which will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon on May 1 at the Lake Charles Event Center.

Those seeking a job are encouraged to wear business attire and bring a picture ID and copies of their resume. Pre-registration is not required.

For employers seeking to take part in the job fair, there is no cost, but pre-registration is required.

Veterans, who will be given priority services, are asked to arrive at 9 a.m. for exclusive access to employers until 9:30 a.m.
