Notre Dame made program history on the recruiting trail with the commitment of five-star forward Jalen Haralson, who made his pledge live on CBS Sports HQ and the 247Sports YouTube channel. Haralson is the second five-star to commit to the Fighting Irish in the 247Sports era, joining JJ Starling (No. 22 overall in 2022). Haralson is Notre Dame’s second commitment for ’25 following Brady Koehler’s commitment earlier this week. Haralson took an official visit to Michigan State, Indiana and Notre Dame within the last month. The star player for the La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana, is the No. 1 ranked player in the state and the fourth five-star prospect in the class to commit.
