How to Preorder the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Bundles and PS5 Pro

If the old-school PlayStation and its iconic gray color is dear to your heart, you can soon relive those totally sweet 1990s memories. Sony is releasing a series of products for PlayStation’s 30th anniversary, including a limited-edition PlayStation 5 Pro bundle. The products, which include consoles, controllers, a disc-drive cover and accessories, are color-themed to the original PlayStation game console, which was released in Japan in 1994 and in the US in 1995.

The company showed off the products in a YouTube video and blog post last week. The line for preorders went live today, Thursday Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. ET, and the new products will go on sale on Nov. 21.

What time can you preorder the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Bundle?

PlayStation 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Bundle can be preordered now from PlayStation Direct. (If that link doesn’t work, go straight to direct.playstation.com to get in line to preorder.) The bundle went live earlier on Thursday in the UK and sold out immediately. The standard white PS5 Pro can be preordered this morning as well.

The flagship products in the 30th Anniversary Collection will be a PS5 Pro bundle featuring a 2TB SSD, a DualSense wireless controller, a DualSense Edge wireless controller, a charging station, a disc-drive cover (disc drive not included), a vertical stand, and accessories including PlayStation Shapes cable ties, a sticker, a poster and a PlayStation paper clip. Only 12,300 of the units will be available. A 1TB version of that bundle will also be available.

While Sony didn’t initially announce pricing information, screenshots from the product page are showing the super limited PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Bundle price at $1,000. The PS5 Pro was recently announced at a price of $700 and doesn’t include a disc drive.

Another product that’s part of the 30th Anniversary Collection is a stand-alone PlayStation Portal Remote Player. Outside of the bundles, the controllers will be available for sale individually.

The DualSense Wireless Controller 30th Anniversary Limited Edition can now be preordered at Walmart and Best Buy for $80. While this controller won’t be limited to 12,000 units like the console, this DualSense won’t be mass produced like other color variants.
