The 25 Best Looks of Fashion Week Street Style

During Fashion Week, street-style looks are often more interesting than what you’ll see on the runway. We noticed less head-to-toe designer dressing and more personal style, plus lots of highs and lows: Think archival Comme des Garçons and Gucci paired with a hat from Canal Street and wireless headphones. My 25 favorite street-style looks from this season so far are below in no particular order.

She is the moment. Journalist Lynn Yaeger’s looks need no explanation. I admire the tonal colors and regal fabrications in this look, especially the way the ruffled lace detailing perfectly frames her face. Her colorful Paris tote adds a sense of unseriousness that Yaeger often infuses throughout her personal style.

The only thing better than a little black dress is two of them. Shannon and Shannade Clermont, wearing Area dresses, did not come to play.

Editor José Criales-Unzueta serves all the comfortable yet ultrachic vibes in full Christopher John Rogers.

This LII faux fur midi skirt on editor Laia Garcia-Furtado just scratches the right part of my brain. The majorness followed through to the accessories; she knew what she was doing here.

Editor Tchesmeni Leonard is *chef’s kiss* in full white. The mini bag and purse combo is practical and cool, and the black mesh flats keep this look grounded. Also, quick shout out to this hair moment.

Fashion market and editorial director Chloe King, wearing a purple glitter Comme des Garçons dress accented with a green sequined Gucci cap, is just what our round-up needed. It’s romantic, exciting, and fun!

The designer wears her brand and looks fab while doing so. She sports a Nacy Francis chocolate-brown suit paired with By Goldiie earrings, a Cult Gaia bag, and topped off with a Flee Market Global bandana to tie it all together.

Leave it to DJ Miya Shir to execute a punk-modern look. Her cropped army jacket and low-waist combo is the season’s vibe, but my favorite part is her vintage high-top “No Rules” sneakers.

Creative Brittany Lam-Greene wears a handcrafted Diana Sträng paneled top styled with denim Bermuda shorts. This look has influenced me to shop for open-toe-thong knee-high boots effective immediately.

We love to see another fabulous woman showcasing her own designs. Designer Martine Ali is best known for her Brooklyn-based jewelry brand, which has been taking over the silver jewelry game for good reason. Just look at her necklace.

Maria Alia Al-sadek wears a Who Decides War jacket and the floor-length distressed denim skirt of our dreams.

Annabelle Weatherly and Trace Black are the coolest model duo on the street. They’re sporting headphones, western belts, basketball shorts, cut-off leather gloves, and cowboy boots. I want a closet tour.

Model Maud van der Meet in a Hysteric Glamour original Toy Couture South Park x Designer Labels bidding war T-shirt, combined with her post-Area show glam still intact, is punk perfection.

Model and actress Quannah Chasinghorse might be wearing rhinestone jeans, but my attention is on her accessories. From headphones to shoes, she is stacked with pieces that celebrate and represent Indigenous fashion and artistry.

Journalist Tiana Randall wears an Air Afrique sports jersey over a rasta mesh knit dress and brown skirt. This is New York street style.

Model Nina Granic post-Marni show in the streets of Milan is such a vibe. Granic still has on her glam from the show, which includes ultra-high thin brows — and I will never get over them. Of course, the hand-painted Marni blue fur heels are the showstoppers here, but I also really like her pairing of a little black bra with this deconstructed, tailored black midi skirt. Bonus points for the way she incorporated white into this look; it feels fresh and timeless.

Model Paloma Elsesser always looks fabulous, but this denim-on-denim moment is chic. It’s rare to find a jean jacket that accentuates the waist, but this Stone Island jacket does the job! This entire silhouette is incredibly sleek, and the dark denim is cool on her.

Anok Yai brings the heat to the streets of Milan wearing a distressed white crop top and wide-leg cargo jeans from the Attico paired with a black cropped jacket. What tops any street-style look is the personal accessories, and here we see the model wearing sunnies, a beanie, and wired headphones (love). And yes, we are taking note of the Birkin.

Wearing a perfectly tailored, oversize leather jacket; a knee-length geometric skirt; pointed heels; and accessories from Prada’s fall ’24 collection, creative Tamu Mcpherson wears this look like it was made just for her.

Outside of the Prada show, digital editorial director Susie Lau opted for a rich yellow-fur-lined coat from Prada’s fall ’21 collection that made quite the statement. The cherry-red bag and dress brought even more dimension to the ensemble, and the JW Anderson tassel leather shoes are everything to me.

Creative Hodan Yousuf’s style often incorporates varsity elements. Wearing a band-uniform-inspired jacket layered over a white-lace-detailed button down, an asymmetrical black skirt over leggings, a Margiela bag, and D-Hammer Diesel boots, Hodan has nailed the sporty-chic look.

Something about a long white fur coat will always get me, and this one from Jil Sander is pure perfection. Pairing it with Jil Sander’s coin purse, the creative Sophia Roe looks divine.

We have been seeing outerwear or “unpredictable” jackets over sequined evening dresses all over the runway this season, and artist Chau Bui shows how easy it is to translate this trend to your personal style. Outside the Onitsuka Tiger show, Chau sports a butter yellow and gold sequin minidress with a black zip-up hoodie on top and Balenciaga platform boots on her feet. If you look closely, you can see the hair’s electric yellow-dyed ends, and it is the perfect accessory.

Here we have model Steinberg, after the Numeroventuno show, in a full pinstripe gray suit accented with pocket chains. To me, this is the ultimate cool-girl look.

Style writer Julles Hernandez wears a vintage navy coat by Thierry Mugler from the ’80s paired with tights for pants. Archive Mugler and no pants? Dream look.
