Man’s Makeshift BBQ Pit — Shopping Cart And Sword — Lands Him In Cuffs: Report
SANTA MONICA, CA — A man who was using a shopping cart and a sword to grill barbecue in the middle of the street — and attempting to use Bud Light to fuel the flames — was arrested Sunday, according to reports.
The incident occurred before 3 p.m., after the man was spotted dragging a shopping card through a bike lane along Ocean Avenue. Video obtained by Fox 11 shows that the cart was filled with burning wood and the man used a sword as a skewer to hold meat over the flames.
The man stopped with the cart at one point and apparently tried to fuel the makeshift barbecue’s flames with Bud Light.
