Sheboygan to Host Midwest Travel Network Writers Workshop in October

Eleven travel writers will be getting a first-hand look, feel, and taste of “The Malibu of the Midwest” in about two weeks.  The Midwest Travel Network is a group of travel bloggers who collaborate, network and share their stories of the region, and they’ll will be headquartered at the Blue Harbor Resort October 8th through the 11th while taking in Sheboygan’s fall colors, waterfront, cuisine and art scene.

Midwest Travel Network Co-Founder Sara Broers said that the group was excited to spotlight Sheboygan and “…to show off its lakeside wonders.  The writer’s workshop empowers our members to make their destination partners shine.”

Broers said that Sheboygan will receive increased attention, and that will bring more visitors who leave revenue with businesses and local governments.  She said to keep an eye out for the Visit Sheboygan staff accompanying the group as they tour, and to show them some love.  In Sheboygan, we call that “Gemütlichkeit”.
