Heidi Klum Debuted a Controversial Hair Transformation During Her Paris Fashion Week Debut

For as long as we can remember, Heidi Klum has stuck with her signature hairstyle: long blonde tresses. Sure, she’s experimented with color-changing Instagram filters and different shades of blonde, but it’s more or less stayed the same for over three decades. However, she just shook things up in a subtle, yet controversial way during her Paris Fashion Week debut.

In case you missed it, on Sept 27, Klum made not only her return to the runway, but made her debut at Paris Fashion Week for Vetements’ Spring 2025 show. For the walk, she donned leather pants, pointed heels, a shirt with the word “Polizei,” which is German for police, and a black trench coat. However, what stole the show was her new hairdo: curly blonde bangs with her dark roots showing.

Klum also shared a clip of the show on her Instagram with the caption reading, “@vetements_official Thank you, Guram, for including me in your show. I loved it 😊 and I love YOU ❤️”

Now, Klum has rocked bangs before, despite bangs have always been a controversial look for years. But this time, she subtly changed things up by curling them and showing off her dark roots at the same time. So Y2K-coded!

In a previous interview with SheKnows, Klum talked about how she has “too many personalities” when it comes to her personal style, saying, “I have so many different moods all the time. Sometimes I want to be sassy, then I want to be super sexy, then I want to be Business Barbie, then I love to be bohemian… so it’s all very eclectic.”
