Denise Austin Says This Foldable Treadmill Helps You ’Get Fit’ at Home

In the work-from-home age, walking pads are all the rage, and Denise Austin is in on it. The fitness mogul recently launched her own WalkingPad Denise Austin 2.0 Double-Fold Treadmill with Dicks Sporting Goods, and it’s the perfect combination of compact and powerful to keep your steps up—whether that means going for a light run or using it as an under-desk treadmill.

The design provides all the benefits of a heavy, expensive, space-consuming treadmill but is lightweight and foldable. It features handles to hold your phone and to use for balance while stepping. It also features an LED display that connects with an app to help you along your walking journey. The treadmill folds not once, but twice into a small, flat rectangle that can be easily rolled into a discrete storage area, just like a carry-on suitcase. Most treadmills are expensive enough to clear out a savings account but this one is currently on sale.

Earlier this month, Austin attended a launch event at Dicks Sporting Goods to meet with fans and discuss the innovative treadmill.

“We had an absolute blast kicking off the launch of my latest double-fold treadmill model with KingSmith by SCS-Make Life Easy and Dick’s Sporting Goods!” Austin said in a statement. “The audience was incredible, the energy was high, the adrenaline was pumping, and I am so excited to work with this renowned sports store to get more people moving and grooving from the comfort of their homes. Let’s get fit with convenient cardio!”

As Austin fans know, the 67-year-old is the queen of finding ways to stay active wherever she is, be it through cardio dance, low-impact workouts, or the simple sidesteps that she’s sworn by since she started filming fitness television 40 years ago. When it comes to basic, effective movement, she has never led her followers astray—and her new treadmill is no exception.
