M4 MacBook Pro Is Allegedly On Sale On A Private Online Group, With Additional Retail Box Images Showing No Difference In Design From M3 Versions

One of Apple’s M4 MacBook Pro models’ retail box had allegedly leaked earlier, revealing that the machine would be kitted out with 16GB of unified RAM and 512GB of storage. The M4 was revealed to sport a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, indicating that it was a higher-tier version. While the technology giant has plans to unveil the new portable Macs sometime this quarter, the model in question is allegedly on sale on a private group.

The group’s name was not mentioned, but tipster mentioned that the M4 MacBook Pro was listed on a Facebook page

Once again, ShrimpApplePro has posted images of the M4 MacBook Pro’s retail box, showing the packaging from various angles. In the previous leak, there were some naysayers who dismissed the leak as fake, with even the tipster recommending his viewers to treat the information with a pinch of salt. Thankfully, in the latest post on X, we get a closer look at the M4 MacBook Pro retail box, with one of the images showing the front of the side of the machine in what appears to be the Space Black finish.

Those who wanted Apple to introduce a design change will be sorely disappointed, as the image pretty much confirms that the company is not interested in introducing an aesthetics overhaul. Thankfully, potential buyers will not have to wait long because TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has stated that the M5 versions will feature a new camera module at the top when they launch in 2025.

It is unclear how this M4 MacBook Pro has been listed for sale on a Facebook group, but it is unsurprising why the tipster is unwilling to reveal the exact page’s name, as it can get a boatload of people into trouble. It is also unconfirmed whether the sale happened, and if so, what was the listing price of the M4 MacBook Pro? Unfortunately, all of these details are kept in the dark, and for good reason.

If you have been waiting for a MacBook Pro upgrade but are the impatient type, we recommend checking out Amazon’s recent discount, which has slashed an incredible $300 off from the M3 Pro version of the 14.2-inch MacBook Pro, bringing its price down to $1,699. The entire package includes an 11-core CPU, 14-core GPU, 18GB of unified RAM, and a 512GB SSD.
